Welcome to Piano Studies! At MIPS we offer one-of-a-kind training for students in 5th-12th grades for Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced piano students. If you have always wanted to learn how to play the piano, or are looking to improve your skills as a pianist we are here for you!
All MIPS piano students benefit from FREE one-on-one weekly virtual piano lessons with an expert instructor! In addition to the private lessons, piano students participate in a required weekly 30-minute Zoom class with students that are at the same level of piano study. Additional instruction is provided in short instructional videos assigned each week. All of our piano students are encouraged to become well-rounded musicians through the study of quality music, theory, sight reading, and ear training.
All piano students are required to have a digital or acoustic piano with a minimum of 76 keys. MIPS does rent out full size 88-key digital pianos for a low monthly rate.
BEGINNING PIANO (5th-12th Grades)
The Beginning Piano course offers 3 levels of study. Level One is for students with little to no experience. Level Two and Level Three are for students that typically have 1-2 years of piano training. Your MIPS Piano instructor will help assign you to the appropriate level of study.
