Welcome to Creative Arts Class! Each elementary age MIPS student will have the option of choosing 2 programs to study for Creative Arts. Our MIPS Creative Arts program options are Music, Theatre, and Art. Each Creative Arts program is one semester long, so during the course of the year students will benefit from participation in 2 different Creative Arts courses. At the end of the year each Creative Arts student will assemble an online digital portfolio of their work from the year. We are confident that each of our students will have a BLAST in their Creative Arts classes as they discover their creative potential!
Welcome to Music Class! Our primary focus is to invite each student to participate in exciting and enjoyable musical experiences, as well as begin to build a solid foundation of musicianship. We will approach and explore the various facets of music through: singing, playing, movement, creating, reading, and listening. During class we will learn music from around the world, compose our own music, learn the basics of rhythm, develop our singing voices, and much more!
